GAME GUN. Cal. 20 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 8275. The 25" dovetailed barrels are fitted with raised matted Churchill rib; gold inlaid "XXV". Churchill name and Orange Street address are engraved on tops of barrels. Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Case hardened small size double ogee back boxlock action features automatic safety ("SAFE" in gold) and double triggers. Action is engraved with 80% coverage rose and scroll. "Churchill" is on each side. Blued floorplate with matching scroll is engraved "The" "Regal". Steel trigger guard with matching scroll has S# on tang. Straight grip buttstock made of fiddle figured and lightly streaked European walnut measures 14-7/8" over tan leather covered bad. Stock features usual point pattern grip checkering, drop points and silver oval on toeline engraved with monogram "R. C. Mc. N. II". Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. Top lever and trigger guard are considerably silvered. Stocks retain most of their original oil finish. Checkering lightly worn. Bores are bright and shiny without noted problems.
